Honesty only brings pain, Suffering and rejection. Left standing out in the rain, No longer the object Of your affection. Good enough for a fling Not good enough for your love String me along Play with my heart Tell me the lies I want to hear And make me feel inferior Why cant you love me Just for who I am? Life's experiences are a part of me But not the whole me I've changed, Cant you see that? Don't you understand? I'm ready to give you my all As here I sit on the ledge Ready to fall Straight into your embrace Tell me you love me Hold me tight Don't ever let me go I need your touches The caress of your fingertips You are my life, My sanity.
