Well, where do I start? I was living in Cortez, CO. in a white house behind a motel. My husband had been having problems with his chest. My friend (who was phsychic, I would say) called me that morning and said, 'I don't know what it is, but whatever you do, DO NOT let your husband drink any alcohol at all whatsoever!'. Well, my first thought was, 'yaah right, like I can stop him!' Well, needless to say, the first thing he did when he came home was get a Pina Colada out of the fridge. He sat on the couch and drank about half of it as we watched TV. I kept watching him out of the corner of my eye suspiciously. About 9:00 that night, he said he was tired and was ready to go to bed. As I was tucking the kids into bed, he went to the kitchen, put the remaining Pina Colada back in the fridge and proceed to get a drink of water. Just as he shut the faucet off, he set the glass down on the counter and fell to his knees on the floor. He could hardly breathe or move and he was grabbing his chest. I asked him if he was okay and if he wanted me to call 911. He shook his head no, sat there for a few more minutes and began breathing better again. He stood up, and I walked him upstairs to bed. I went back downstairs, turned off all the lights and locked the doors. As I got in bed, I asked him if he was okay, and he said he was fine, it was just a bad gas bubble. We then proceeded to go to sleep. A few hours later, I felt very cold. I sat up in bed to pull the covers over me (needless to say, I was already covered up), and as I did, I seen a movement out of the corner of my eye. There was a black shadow coming out of the corner of my wall. It was floating slowly towards me. The only way to describe this vision was to call it the Grim Reaper. That's what it appeared to look like. He was dressed in a black, hooded outfit, I could not see his face, hands or feet. His hands appeared to be crossed in front of him, tucked inside his sleeves. He was floating slowly towards me, and in a low, gruff voice was saying: 'I'm sorry, Kim, I'm so sorry'. Of course, me, what do I say? 'Who are you and what do you mean, you're sorry? He was still coming towards me, saying 'I'm so sorry, Kim, for the death of your loved one'. Well, needless to say, I was scared and mad all at the same time! Who was this idiot! I didn't lose anyone recently! So I asked him! 'What do you mean, the death of my loved one?' He then knelt down at the foot of my bed and said again, 'I'm so sorry for the death of your loved one.' He then raised up, floated backwards and just before he disappeared, he said it again! Just as he disappeared, my husband took several gasps for air, then let it all out. He was not breathing and there was no pulse. I then proceeded to shake him, screaming out his name: 'Raymond, wake up! Raymond! Wake up!'. He didn't move. I got up on top of his stomach and was going to start pounding on his chest when he finally came to. He screamed at me: 'What are you doing!'. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well for the rest of the night......ah, but my husband slept just fine! What was this 'black shadow' doing in my room, and what was his purpose for being there? Was he warning me about my husband? Or was he going to take him away? Thank goodness, my husband is still alive and with me today. I'm so thankful for that! I have had many other experiences with this 'black shadow' after this, too. But....that's a different story.......or is it? K How it changed my life:Well, I don't take life for granted anymore! I believe in the 'supernatural', I guess you could call it!
