One night I was having a sleep-over party with 4 of my best buds. We were having so much fun. Talking about boys, listening to music, playing truth or dare, and much more. Then my party took a dramastic turn that would change my life forever.At about 11:30 my best friend Addison, (Addy), asked if I and my other friends would like to contact a spirit. My other friends and I thought that this might be exciting yet scary at the same time, so we decided to do it. But, at that moment I did'nt know that this would become the worst decision I had EVER made in my entire life. We all sat in a circle in my room in front of a big mirror. Then we lighted 10 candels and placed them around us. After that we held hands and Addy started to chat. My other friends and I joined in. We asked to have a spirit come in the room and give us a sign it was there. At about midnight we were just going to give up, when a strong brezze came into the room when all the windows and doors were shut. It! felt as though someone had come into the room and was watching us. Then all of a sudden a glass picture fram flew accross the room and hit the wall and shatterd. After that, each candle blew out one by one in a row. My friends and I freaked and tried to leave the room but the doors were locked for some odd reason. When I went to go turn on the light a bright light had come on to the mirrior. It was figured into a human. the eyes of this figure were black. Evil black. I knew that whatever it was, it was not good. The hand of the figure raised up and broke the glass of the mirrior. And at that moment the lights came on and the doors un-locked. My friends and I told my mom but she did'nt belive us. From that night on I slept in my mom's room because I was to scared to go in mine. Every night my mom and I would hear strange and bizzare noises. From time to time things would be throw accross the room. Doors would slam shut, windows would break, dark human shaped figures would walk! around our house. We knew there was a spirit in our home. We had investigators, detectives, police, priests, you name it, investigate our home. Every one thought we were crazy. Finally, my mom was so much sick of this, she and my father decided to move out of our home. We moved about a mile away from out original home. A man and women who were pregnat,(at the time), moved into our home. They never complained about hearing noises or seeing things be thrown accross the room. In our new home nothing like that happened, but I am still emotionally abused and killed about what happened. I have constant nightmares and always seem to see things that are not really there. Even though the spirit is not there, I know it's watching, waiting for one day when I contact it agian. How it changed my life: Well, I have constant nigtmares and I am deadly afraid to light candles. And in my new home, we don't have even ONE mirror. It brings back to many memories. Even though I have been taught to handle it, the vision of the ghost still taunts me.
