Kobe Earthquake   Author: 17  Category:(ESP) Created:(8/28/1999 10:48:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (3978 times) I dreamt my boyfriend told me there was going to be an earthquake on January 17, 1995. I told him that couldn't be true because we had just had the Northridge earthquake on January 17, 1994. But he said 'No, it's going to happen somewhere else in the world.' Then I saw a scene of smoke rising up from a city, and there was a feeling a deep despair and grief, so much so that I felt overwhelmed with emotion and woke from my sleep. I got up and wrote the dream in my journal before returning to bed. The next day I called my mother & sister and told them I was certain there was going to be a huge and devasting earthquake that would kill thousands of people on that date, but I didn't know where it would be. This dream occurred 2 weeks before the Kobe, Japan earthquake on Janaury 17. I don't normally have earthquake dreams about faraway places, but I had visited Kobe several times when I was on business in Japan, so perhaps that is why.
