I just stumbled across this page by accident,I been in Akron all of my life,I am not black,but I have several black relatives in Akron also.I knew alot of people in the 70,s and you never know I may know something you might be able to use. I came from a very large family and my brothers and sisters and I all went to mixed schools and lived in mixed area,s .Ask me to help with something and who knows maybe I can help. |

Try putting ad in Akron Beacon journal-Akron Ohio,or if you know your last name before adoption ?or not contact Suumit county library and pull up newspaper from your date of birth plus two or three after to get last name I live in Indiana now but was also born there,email me let me know if this helps,you can type in newspapers ohio and be tsaken to an ohio web page

Have you ever tried looking up the name on internet search services? There are a lot of free services on the net, yahoo for example. Or call 1-8-00-big-hugs.
