I was told by Parker Brothers game company that the game was controlled by the vibrations from the hands touching the planchette. (I wrote to them) But they were dead wrong. After obtaining a ouija board from a local Toys'r'Us, I sat down to test it with my brother. Shortly after, a character calling himself 'Dennis' was communicating with us. He didn't say much, he only mumbled. The house we lived in at the time was 92 years old, and could have very well been haunted. It was a 48-acre farm, which to many people seemed huge. I put the ouija board away after a while, I was getting a bit scared anyway. I went to watch tv, then after about an hour, I went to get it again. The board wasn't where I had left it. This scared me. I eventually found it under the kitchen sink. I begged my brother to hide it or get rid of it because it was scaring me. He told me I shouldn't have bought it in the first place. I returned the board to the store. A couple days later, I was tempted and made my own ouija board. During the night, my tape player turned on. It was sitting on the floor by my bed. I dismissed it as being accidentally left on. But then the next night it happened again. And it was the same song, 'Do You Belive In Magic' by the Magic Spoonful. A couple more days later, I walked into my room. Two bottles of nail polish flew past my head and landed on the floor. I ran downstairs, frightened. Don't ever play with a ouija board....they are real!!!
