I was there to clear out some old junk she had left behind. I was in the basement when the basement door suddenly slammed shut. No matter what I did the door would not open. I could hear little whispering voices on the other side of the door. I couldn't quite make out what they were saying. I called out to them to open the door but my efforts were ignored. An hour went by before I finally managed to get the door open. When I got out I found the house to be extremely cold even though it was hot outside and the air conditioning hadn't been working in awhile. Also all the stuff I had packed had been placed exactly where I had took them from. It was as if not a hint of moving had happened. After that I never went back in there alone. How it changed my life: I'm not so sceptical of ghosts anymore.
