Thanks to the Unsolved Mysteries page I was able to find my best friend who I posted a letter about, Vanessa Diede! The mother of a friend of hers was browsing the page and saw the name Vanessa Diede. Vanessa's friend told her and I got an e-mail from Vanessa's fiance! She's doing wonderfully in New York (I had thought she was in Florida with her father) and we were able to talk and catch up on things. Without the Unsolved Mysteries page I would never have found her! As if one reunion wasn't enough, I also posted a request for info on my Uncle and, while I didn't find out about my Uncle, I did get a reply from a lady who was a good friend of my dad's that he hadn't seen since 1970! They are now corresponding by e-mail and happy they were able to find each other again! It's amazing that these two events occurred. I'm forever greatful and hope this page will be kept updated as much as possible! How it changed my life:I now have my friend and don't have to worry about if she's OK or not andmy dad is starting to try and find other old friends now!
