One night, in the middle of summer, my two cousins and I were just about to go to sleep when a bright light appeared at the foot of the couch Tonabeth ,one of the cousins, was lying on. It glowed very bright and was shaped like a sphere or an oval. After hovering over her feet for a few moments the ball of light went to the head of Jared's couch.I was lying in the recliner holding the covers over me very tightly hoping it would not come my way. It flew off very quickly. When I was sure it was gone, I asked my cousins if they had seen what I had seen. After about five minutes of discussion, we had all concurred we had seen the same ball of light! We all knew there was no way it was a car light or any other kind of man made light. I am 22 now and it's been almost nine years since the occurrence. We have talked about it on occasion and still believe it was an extraordinary experience. What was it?
