Did grandma say goodbye?

I had moved away from home to study in a small town. One evening when i was in bed, not yet asleep, i felt as if something fell, rather hard, on my cheek. I jumped out of bed and looked all around to find out what it was, but i found nothing. I looked at the time, now i dont remember what time it was, and a bit scared i went to bed again. I didn´t fall asleep for quite some time because i was a bit shaken about the whole thing. The next morning at 7 my mother called and told me that my fathers mom had died last night. I rememberd the incident from the evening before and asked her for the time of grandmas death. My mom told me and grandmas death and the 'slap' on my face had come only a few minuts apart, my experience was three minuts later than the 'passing away'. I told my mom what had happend and she told me that it might have been grandma saying goodby. Could it be true? When attending grandmas funeral i saw a figure standing by the head of her coffin, moving away when the viccar came close and then returning to its previous position. Mom told me after the funeral that she had seen my onkel, who died before i was born, standing at the head of grandmas coffin.
