Wounded-Ghans and Hero Ghans / PICS -- Lisa/Peacelover   Author:  63725  Category:(USM Events) Created:(5/13/2008 1:14:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (136 times) My dear sister posted about my making afghan squares for Amercan Angels Hero-Ghans for troops who have passed on and for Wounded-Ghans for troops who have been injured.  These are both Yahoo groups so if anyone is interested in more info let me know or search on Yahoo Groups.  Members also make slippers, helmet liners for cold winters, cool ties out of cloth for heat which gets really bad over there, baby outreach for outfits for new babies.  Whenever possible the Hero-Ghans are hand delivered to the famlies.  I am posting the first 2 pics of the afghans I contributed to.      This Wounded-Ghan went to a Bengals fan.  My square is the last row on the right on the 2nd from the bottom.  It is orange and black striped with orange border.
