I would genuinely encourage anyone who gets the opportunity to do something a little bit 'cheeky' like this for a good cause to absolutely go for it! We are all shapes and sizes, and we all amazed ourselves by getting out there and having a great time. We all had the choice whether to participate or not, and we had big girls, very small girls, pale, tanned, tattoos, piercing, cellulite, the lot! and that's what made it so wonderful- it wasn't about giving the passing men a bit of a look, it was about drawing attention to a very important issue. We are running a promotion alongside this 'Go Naked' campaign where we give away free full size 'naked' (unpackaged, i.e.- solid shampoo bars) products, just for bringing in empty or full bottles of cosmetic products which we will either recycle or donate the full bottles to charity.
I must say, I never thought I had it in me, and I'm very proud to have proved myself wrong! |

Huh???? I don't think there is any cause in this world that could get my boss to make me take off my clothes but kudos for your dedication. |

I would never walk around naked, even for a "good cause." |

It wasn't for my job as such, it was for the cause of reducing the amount of unnecessary packaging used today :) |

The article was really interesting. I've never heard of Lush Australasia before. I think it's great that a company will dedicate itself to a good cause like this. |

Good for you. I hate over packaged goods. We carry our own grocery bags so we won't even take those plastic bags they try to put everything in. |

Angel in the Attic - The area outside of the store turned out to be really suitable! :) being a Wednesday, most children were in school and the people around were either business people on their lunch, tourists, etc. To be honest, I don't recall any seeing children (that's not to say there weren't any). The area was a city mall, so there is no traffic, and a few passing policemen stopped to have a chat and a bit of a laugh :) |

O.K.-I have to add that down here on the Gulf Beaches, we see "bathing suits" that are two pasties, and dental floss for the bottom-having a naked bottom would not be that offensive. And one of the reason(s) I love Lush products so much is they are very Earth Friendly, they are hand-made/mixed, and the natural fragrances are just lovely. I learned how to make my own "bath bombs", but they simply do not compare to Lush's. And there is a "Witchy" massage bar that is heaven for when I am feeling arthritic. |
