~+Lord, Send down Your Holy Rain+~ *Blue*   Author:  48250  Category:(Poetry) Created:(7/23/2008 9:00:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (77 times) ~Lord, Send down Your Holy Rain~ When I am weary Tired---- When my heart so troubled---- Lack the strength That I need When I don’t know where to turn Feel as though I can’t go on Still I know I’ll find you waiting there for me When I fall down upon knees I need to reach Your Throne To the secret place I will run When I don’t know what to say------- words so hard to speak Those words just won’t come I know you love me anyway For I know You hear my heart, Lord You Know exactly what I need When clouds appear anyway Send down Your rain Lord Just send down Your Holy rain Your Salvation has set me free When the night seems so long Darkness settles in all around me When I do the best I can Though my friends misunderstand Lord , I feel just like A little child again Send down----- Your rain Lord That Holy Rain Cover me------ In Your glory-----and majesty Lord send down Your rain Lord, You know I don’t deserve you But I try so hard to serve you please don’t forsake Help me to find my way Teach me how to pray Lord, I need you to lead me I need Your peace Just Send down---- the rain, Lord Send down Your glorious rain I need Your rain, Lord I need Your Holy rain Help me find the strength Get back on my feet Ease this pain When I feel I cannot go on When I am feeling such Sorrow These burdens I carry Just too much to bare alone Then the answer comes to my prayer For there is living waters Overflowing from Your Heavenly fountain Lord, You meet me there Lord I need----- to reach Your throne I can’t make it on my own Hide me Lord in Your Bosom In the Shelter of Your wings Where there is solace I feel Your holy presence Let me dwell Forevermore in Your peace For I need Your strength Lord Teach me Your ways I need the rain, Lord I need Your Love Lord, Send down Your rain Send down the rain, I need thee every hour, Lord Of each and every day Send down the rain, Lord Lord, Please send down Your Holy Rain~ When I think about yesterday Standing there in silence Suddenly remembering I felt so out of place Then, I felt you beside me, Lord When I needed Your mercy and Your grace Lord, I need you to guide me As I saw the tears roll down their faces Help me see through eyes that understand Though our footsteps we plan You Lord have ordained Remembering Not so long ago Help me to show them there is something to believe in There is a better way I’ll rest upon Your word Wait here for Your Presence I know You’ve gone before me, Lord In You I’ll find my comfort Down righteous paths Light my way For I need you here to lead me There is joy that You bring Like an eagle spreads her wings Set free as she soars upon the winds Sweet Holy Spirit -------O’ hide me, In the cleft of the Rock Guide me, Lord For your ways are righteous and truth Send down Your Rain Lord I will wait upon You For I need your latter rain, Lord Refreshing for my soul Send down Your Holy Rain Until I feel the sunshine on my face once again Copyright © 2008 s a l *KyBluebird* You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click here Scroll all the way down to read replies.
