My Recent Surge In My Songs,~Psyguy

It all began last Friday as I came back from my break, our kids were sleeping, so I had some downtime.

I guess it was about 1:30 when it seemed like a voice came to me, and said "focus, meditate, and write down what you hear"...

After the voice came, words began to appear in my head, and it gave me ten song titles...

I was like ok, I like what I see, let me work on these this weekend....

Well that night I went to bestbuy cause there was a Waylon Jennings Cd I wanted, it was his double live cd, I had it, but it got ruined, and that was going to be how I wrote my songs....

Well bestbuy didn't have that particular cd, but I did end up getting his 40 song Rca Country Legends cd....

I didn't recognize some of his songs, Im use to alot of better known songs, and when I heard "Clyde", it's got alot of alternate bass, and just a uptempo song, there was a spark that lit up my head.

I was in the doldrums with my music, and writing, but after hearing that song, It kicked it back to where I wanted to be....

I also found a myspace with all his songs, and cd's on it, and found even more songs I never knew he did, and was actually surprised to see him do.

So alot of my new songs are going to be "thumping" alternate bass, Texas Attitude, mixed with western swing lol....

It's the songs I've been wanting to write, but couldn't, 'til now.

I'm thankful they didnt have that double live cd, or I'd never found the inspiration I needed.

Date: 11/17/2008 5:36:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63026    I only go there now for cd's. Cause they had a good variety, but no more. Of course they rearranged the whole store on me though. But I wont be going there no more, cause their cd selection has gone down
