I thought growing up was about changing, but it seems like everything has stayed the same, I'm growing up, but I still got my friends, some of whom I had since I was ten, Thought when I graduated from highschool, and headed off to college, our friendships wouldn't remain, but life hasn't changed,
I still got the same fears of love, I had since I was fifteen years old, I'm still afraid to be close to women, and Don't want to settle down just yet, They do catch me eye from time to time, but I don't give 'em a clever line, it's always the same, lonely every day, life hasn't changed,
I don't think of growing older, I live for day to day, don't plan my future, cause one day it's smooth sailing, other day it's rocky traveling, I learnt that it's fun to play in the rain, and learnt life never changes
I still visit the places we haunted when we were younger, even though I'm older now, it still feels like a rerun, I know every hot spot in this city, the emotions are still the same, I'm happy and carefree, and still don't give a dang, about some things, and life hasn't changed, life sure hasn't changed, since I was young,
I still listen to the same cd's, I've owned since I was sixteen, those songs are special to me, and I still get goosebumps listening to those classic country songs, and even though they are old, the message is still the same, it runs from generation to generation, were born, we live, we die, and life never changes,
