I have the coolest kid.....Base

It's true.

Ryan, had his surgery to try to fix his hearing issues and the nurses couldn't believe how well behaved and happy he was. We talked about it in depth before hand and he had a few nerves the night before but was cool, calm and collected the whole way through.

There were kids there both younger and older than him, screaming and crying but he had a smile on his face. When he came out of the anesthetic he came out with a smile. No tears or screaming like others in post-op. Both beforehand and after when the nurses would ask if they could check his blood pressure, or do something to him, he would say "sure." One nurse asked him his name and birthday. He couldn't remember the year he was born but remembered it was 2008, so I asked him if it's 2008 and he's how many years old, then what year would he have been born in? He came up with the answer in seconds and the nurse thought that was impressive for a Kindergartner.

After, he was a little confused about the room, he remembered being in a room with walls but now was in a room with curtains. It's the power of drugs, kid. lol

What is this stuff?

This sitting up stuff is getting harder.

I think I'll just lay down, now.

I know people have asked how it went and he's doing fine, in three weeks we should know if it was successful or not.
