It's important to stay strong during difficult times. I know it's really hard to see it right now, but don't be so negative; i know it's how you feel, but it won't help anything. Somehow, you'll be okay. I have the same financial problems going on. I took out a loan to go to school. You can't just give up. *hugs*  |

thanx guys <3 the only problem with getting a loan is that I need a co-signer and my parents won't sign on a loan with me, they still think that there are other options, but even with my scholarship money, I couldn't afford books the last two semesters. I just don't know what to do.  |

I really hope things turn around for you. I am terribly sorry about what has happened. -hugs- Take care and look for other options you may have missed for school financing. Speak with a counselor or something who might assist you in looking for ideas. Good luck and please never lose hope, sometimes it is all we have. |

I know you don't want to hear it but have you tried taking out loans? I know it isn't the best/easiest of options (I know because I will graduate in May and the amount of debt I'm in just keeps circling through my brain), but it will help you get through school and then you will have a better job to help pay off the loans! My boyfriend had a lot of trouble paying for school; he too was supposed to have a certain amount of scholarship money and had to take out more loans in the end b/c they didn't award him what he was supposed to have (looooong story I won't get in to). It was one thing after another with him: the money, his car broke down and he racked up large credit card bills, he totaled his car and didn't have one for a while...just kinda went on and on like that for years. I think he thinks he's still in a rut now that he's out, but he now owes LESS loan money than I will when I graduate b/c he has paid a bunch off and he is making ends meet finally: having paid of 2 of 4 credit cards and the 3rd is right around the corner! Maybe you did hit rock bottom and maybe you didn't, but the good new is that if you did...the ONLY place to go from here is up, up UP! I certainly hope you start seeing that "up" really soon, sounds like you could use some good luck/good news! I'm here if ya need to rant! *hugs*  |

...okay I just saw your comment about getting a loan....this is why you should read comments before jumping on a soap box!  But, really, maybe if you sit down with your parents and present the facts and tell them how much your education really means to you, they may co sign for you. Again, I hope things work out for you! |
