The haunted house of Susex, New Brunswick   Author: 744  Category:(Ghosts) Created:(10/1/1999 3:29:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (2954 times) In this 85 year old house in Susex, New Brunswick it seemed like a cozy, nice place to live. And it was for awhile, until early one morning when my aunt was awakened by an unbearable coldness. She went downstairs in the basement to light the woodstove. As the fire got started there was a small figure in the wood stove. It was small and red, and beckning for her to come to him. A small devil like figure. She wiped her eyes because she thought her eyes were playing tricks on her and shook a stick at it. It didn't disfigure it at all, just went through it. She thought her eyes were plating tricks on her, so she closed the lid and went upstairs and about her business. Small occurences went on within the weeks, then there were drastic temperature changes day and night. Somtimes she would wake up at night so hot she couldn't breath, and her daughter would often vomit due to the heat. The man who lived above her often went away on business trips. On these occations she would hear music blaring. Opera and bagpipe music was the most common. She heard footsteps when no one was around. Things like this went on until she moved because of the strangeness. A few days before she moved she had cloths set neatly out and she would come back to find them thrown about. She would make them up again, and come back to find them messed up. These occurences never caused any harm, but kept the hair on the back of her neck raised. How it changed my life: I now have a respect of things we cannot understand.
