| Date: 10/3/1999 4:42:00 PM wow Phe, the things that drove you to do that must have been phenominal. You know they say suicide is the cowards way out, it is MUCH harder to live life some times. I keep thinking to myself here, that I just wouldn't have the gusts to do that and I thank God I don't. You strike me as a very strong person. If you are strong enough to knowingly swallow the chemicals that will kill you, you most certainly are strong enough to learn by your experiences too. I'd bet my life that you've learned a great lesson by all that you've been through. I think I'd be honored to be a friend of yours. Hang in there. Sounds as if you have mission *shrug*, who knows. A late response, but here it is. I agree with Chelle. it's extremely hard to actually go through the actions of suicide. To have the will to do that, and then recover your life, and be able to enjoy it is an extraordinary thing. Mission in life or not, that is one hell of a miracle. -Marauder |
| Date: 10/4/1999 9:16:00 AM About four years ago, in 8th grade, I almost killed myself with a kitchen knife at my Best Friends birthday party. She saved my life and I'm very grateful that she did it before i did any harm to myself. Now I'm glad I didn't do it. Otherwise I wouldn't have expirenced the last few years of my life. I now have a boyfriend, tons of friends, and a cool family. I would have missed out on dances, driving, and all the other joys of life. I'm glad you're here today to tell your miracle. Hi Phe, We helped prevent a dear friend from suicide one Friday night, from a moment of terrifying depression and absolute insanity, where he was attempting to lynch himself when we walked in. In the nick of time, of course. But this profound crisis turned into the miracle of rebirth and now he is a new person, powering through life with fantastic career opportunities. But now 100% aware that we are indeed "spiritual beings haveing a human experience" on boot camp Earth. Mike Heff. |
