Voodoo in Bermuda

I was on a trip to Bermuda with the high school band. I had sold candy bars all year to rase the money to go on the trip. The band leader took us to this night club because he wanted us to hear some real calipso music. The band was great but the shocking part of the show was the oppening act. This lanky dark skinned man collected all the empty beer bottles off the tables of the adult guests. He wrapped them in a sheet and then proceeded to smash them gently. The result when he oppened the sheet was a pile of razor sharp glass shards. We all wondered what he was going to do with them. We soon found out. He proceeded to jump off a chair bare footed into the pile of broken glass. He did this about 5 times without aquiring a single scratch. If this was a trick Id love to know how he did it.

How it changed my life:

It freaked me out

Date: 10/13/1999 9:40:00 AM    These sorts of stunts are done by mental focus,
not voodoo, magic, spirits, or Satan.
I call them stunts because they serve no purpose
other than to amaze or entertain.

This is the same sort of thing as firewalking.
When I was in Taiwan, I saw a Chinese man showing
how he can control his "chi". To prove his point,
he lifted 500 KG (over 1000 pounds) that were
tied around his scrotum.

These stunts are dangerous if you have not been
trained, so don't try them at home.
