I was born Maria Danielle Roberts on October 6, 1969. In the Manhattan Beach California area. I was concieved Super Bowl Sunday 1969. My mother Lara Gail Roberts was in love with an older man she worked with in a savings and loan in Redondo Beach or Inglewood???? My first address was 1827-10th st. Manhattan Beach, Ca. I know he is hispanic. I know he came to the hospital when I was born and brought gifts and flowers. I also know that he was present at my first christmas and gave me a musical mouse. Lara was the one who told him to stop seeing me when I was about 6 months old and then met my 'Daddy' Ken. I believe Leon had a sense of responsibility for me and must have cared for me. She has supposedly called him for some of my milestones , my first my first marriage, my first child etc. I think she won't ever tell him either who or where I am. She knows who and where he is but she wont tell me. She says she'll tell me on her death bed. The fact that most people do die quickly and don't have a death bed baffles me for her reasoning. I'm doing the sarch on my own I'm terrified that Leon will die before I find him. He may have been born between 1932-1942 ??? There is a couple that is mentioned several times in my baby book, Forrest and Leanna Wilkins. I belive they may remember Leon. I have so far been able to locate them either. I've always been the black sheep in the family. I grew up being called 'half breed' and 'bastard kid' I dely with it but it still hurt. I have dark hair and olive skin. My mother is a blonde, my brother is a tow-head and my Daddy is a red head. Every time I look in the mirror I see someone I can't relate to. My children have already started to show signes of minor illnesses, so, on the medical side its all the more important to find Leon. For me,.... to find myself. For my children,.... to protect them.
