So realistic, I wake up scared   Author: 806  Category:(Dreams) Created:(10/18/1999 1:18:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1423 times) I used to have nightmares on a regular basis, but it seems like lately they haven't been coming as much. The strange thing about my nightmares is that during the dreams I keep having dejavu. My nightmares are reoccuring. Last night I was dreaming that I was in a house (the house was unfamiliar, but I had obviously lived there a while) I was surrounded by my closest friends, we were all outside drinking and talking. When it started to get dark I got scared, wanting everyone to come inside. No one would listen so I started to prepare for the coming of something evil ~ I didn't know what ~ I just knew that it would be there soon. I went inside to lock all the windows and pull all of the shades down. I began to light fires all around the house, I didn't really know why, but they surrounded the perimeter of my home. Out of my friends only one person helped me (in my dream I didn't recognize this person) I stepped outside to beg everyone once more to come in and that's when I heard the deep, breathy growl. I didn't know where exactly it came from, but I knew how close it was. Back inside, I peeked out the window only to discover myself face to face with the big yellow eyes. It was like sitting on a bed scared to dangle your feet because you fear something will grab them. I was scared to do anything but sit in the middle of the house, away from any opening. I woke up before this dream ended, but I woke up still scared. During my dreams like this I feel like I've done those things a million times, like I'm expecting this horrible thing to show up at my doorstep. I don't remember a dream like this before but while I'm asleep I feel like it's a routine for me. How it changed my life: It hasn't really changed my life, it's not like I'm afraid to sleep. I just find it weird that something so unrealistic still scares me once I'm awake. I just seem to be so full of fear during these dreams.
