I just met a half brother (my Father's son) after 45 years of not knowing he existed. His Mom gave him up for adoption to her cousin's and then they lied to him and told him his biological Father died so he wouldn't search for him. That is cruel. When he found out the truth it was too late our Father had died. It broke his heart. He's alienated from his Mom and has no siblings
other than the 8 of us. I feel sorry for him, we live to far away from each other to build a relationship. Tell your adoptive parents that they should give you any information they have, or they themselves can make the call to your biological family, I can't believe any Court would prosecute them for trying to make an adoptee happy. Good Luck! Also, with all the names you have, there must be several options for skiptracing in your area. |

I think you should have the right to know where your family are. I live in SoCal but I am sorry I do not know anyone by that name. I think that you should talk with your adoptave 'rents and tell you how much it would meant to you if you found your mother. I mean she is your mother you should know who she is and she should know who she is. Why wouldn't she want to meet you? i'm sure she had her reasons for giving you up for adoption, but I'm sure she would like to meet you as well as you would like to meet her. |

Hi, Your story of wanting to find your birth mother is a very touching one.I wish you the best of luck with it! I myself found out about 7 years ago that I was adopted and that my birth mother is someone who I always thought to be my aunt. The story goes, a woman had a baby(too young i suppose)with a man who denied it. She then put the baby up for adoption and her very own brother and his wife decided to adopt the child. The child being me! So it turns out that I remained in my family at least but I do not know the where abouts of my real father. I am really lucky though since my family are all very great! I have a brother and two sisters who are actually my cousins. Imagine I was seventeen by the time I found this all out and before that time I had no idea that I was even adopted!Good Luck, Sheree |

My friend is adopted and looking for information on her mother. She knows this, her mother believed to have lived in Arlington, VA and worked in Washington DC about 50 years ago. Her name "was" Ester Borgman, dob 12/31/21. Her father has been found, but unfortunately died last year. Her mother could be dead also. Need medical information, not looking for relationship but would not refuse one. Anyone out there got any clues, please email at cmattson@monad.net and thank you and good luck with your search.. |
