My grandparents had died and my mother and aunt said I could stay as long as I needed to. The house was beautifully furnished if you like antiques. What I liked most was my grandmothers baby grand piano. She was a very accomplished pianist. She could play hymms, classical,and even rock n roll. She was such a cool person that she would learn to play like Jerry lee lewis, Billy Joel,and even Elton John stuff. She like to impress us grandkids. I being a musician myself enjoyed playing the piano in my spare time. But I noticed it was slightly out of tune. What was strange was that a couple of nights a week the piano would wake me up. The most beautiful music would come out of it. The playing style was unmistakeably grandmas. I was scared at first but learned to enjoy it. What was even stranger was that it was never out of tune on those nights. My mother and aunt sold the place several years ago. I inherited the piano. About a year after moving this piano It woke me up once more. It will be almost 20 years ago that this happened but it seems once a year my wife and I are woken up with music. How it changed my life: I think of it as a gift evertime the piano plays. My wife and I have never told anyone except for a select few of family.
