I was at my friend Kendra's house when all of a sudden I felt a chill. (By the way, my name is Nicki). I asked her about it and she said she felt a chill too. We were all alone in her house except for her baby brother Aaron, who was about two or so at the time. We walked into his room to see if he was okay. When I opened the door he was not there. We searched all over the house before her parents got home to find out about it. Panicked I ran outside. There was something errie because it was at least midnight. In the gray mist I saw a shadow. Kendra came out of the house and asked what I was seeing. I looked closer at the shadow and it came into better view. I peered into the darkness only to see a woman. She was transparent and seemed to be holding something. Kendra screamed and fainted. She did not say anything but just walked toward me. In the faint light of the house I could see that she was Indian. The thing she was holding was Aaron. She handed him! to me and he was sleeping. She turned away from me and dissapeared. It turned out that Aaron had gotten out of his room and was playing around the jagged rocks out side in their yard. He had fallen off of the rocks and landed on his head causing him instant death. The Indian Ghost had taken him and held him and his wounds disappeared and he was fine. The next week I researched in the local library and found out that the Indian I had seen died around this time of year nearly 100 years ago. Her name was Healing Water. She had a son who died in a tragic accident involving the cliffs in the town. She was there but could not save him. She had saved Aaron from his death and her soul must be rested, that is if that is why she was her in the first place. So ghosts are not always bad. Just remember this story and know that they are our friends. Nicki How it changed my life:It has showed me that ghosts can be friends. It also saved my best friends brother, who by the way is about 15 now.
