It was winter in the mid 80's, and around one o'clock in the morning. I was only around 13 years old, but I remember the night very clearly. I was sleeping in the living room with my older sister because our rooms were being painted, and the smell of paint was pretty bad. During the night, through the opened storm window facing the front yard, I saw some lights in the sky. I jumped off the couch and told my sister to come look at the lights. She looked out of the window and we saw a disk, on its side rolling slowly across the sky with red, green, blue, and yellow lights flashing around its edges. It was literally over the house across the street, about 50 feet from the ground. I have never forgotten the sighting, and on TV to my amazement, a photo that was taken in New York 'labelled as the Hudson Valley River sightings, shown on unsolved mysteries' by some man who sent in the photo of the exact disk shaped object I had seen. Now I know at least one other person saw the craf! t and I know I was'nt crazy. How it changed my life:It made me a believer of UFo's.
