I was sadden from this even though I felt a peace. My dad was a preacher and at the time did not ever have a church but preached different places. A few years after his death I began to have dreams about him. I was in a rustic place and I could see a group of men carrying a cofin into a rustic old church and in my mind that was my fathers funeral,,,even though we had the real funeral service at the chapel of the funeral home..It didn't make sense. But as I was watching I heard a voice that I recognized as my fathers coming from a old barn out from the church. He was saying Shelia come here, Come here Shelia and that was scary why was someone calling me..So I went into the barn and back then they had something called cribs in a barn where the animals slept. My father was there hiding in one of the cribs. I remember hugging him and kissing him and said but they are having your funeral. He said I am alive , can't you see, I ! am alive. I just hugged him until I couldn't. He told me you must never tell your mother where you are , never. I had that dreams at least 4 or 5 times a year until I was 33 . One night I went to sleep and had a dream of my father being on his death bed. He told go get you mother I need her ..please go get your mother. so I went and got her and he died. The same week my Mother died. I am sure to this day that my father came back and got my mother, and this was his way of telling me. I never had the dream about the funeral ever again. How it changed my life: I am not afraid of dying anymore.
