I was standing on Sydney's Central train station,waiting for the train that took my two mates and I down the south coast where we went surfing every weekend,when a girl? who seemed around the same age as us(15)came into view.We were already on the platform,and she was coming up the stairs towards us.As she reached the top of the stairs,she looked into my eyes,and I was just dumfounded by what I saw.The coloured part of her eyes looked like slowly spinning kaleidoscopes.I just stared in amazement straight into her eyes,and she just gazed back at me.She was moving in like a wave of people towards a train that had just arrived,and was in view for around 10 seconds.During this time she never attempted to look away,she just stared back at me.When she was almost at the train doors,I looked away(I think it was to ask my mates if they had seen her)And when I looked back the train doors were closing,and I could no longer spot her.My friends said they had not seen her,and no-one! else on the platform seemed to have seen anything strange.It was a very pleasant experience,with no bad vibes or anything...she was just there,then she was gone.In the days after it happened I questioned myself a lot,but could find no logical explanation.I was not on drugs and it was not a dream.In the years that followed I basically just put the experience aside and tried to forget it,as at that age I considered the universe to be very straightforward and..logical?But in the last five years or so I have been attempting to find out what it was.I have spoken to some close friends about it,and one suggested it could have been light reflecting/refracting off contact lenses,so I rang up half a dozen lense shops but none had ever heard of contact lenses having this effect.I met a lady on an x-files forum who said she knew a man many years ago who had seen the exact same thing at an American airport,but she had lost touch with him.I am aware that this sounds like the Beatles song,i! t even mentions a train station(I found the lyrics on the net)but I am not making this up,it happened.I have no idea what she was,alien,psychic,ghost..I haven't got a clue.I would be eternally grateful if anyone who reads this and has heard of a similar occurence would get in touch at my email address.Thanks How it changed my life:I used to think our surroundings were all very explainable...now i have an open mind.
