Searching for the Clifton/Lorraine Bunch Family

I am searching for information about any member of the Clifton/Lorraine Bunch family who lived in the Wallace, Idaho area during the early 1950's. Family members still may live in this area to date, but I am not certain. I was born in the Wallace Hospital, Wallace, Idaho on March 11, 1954. From what I was told, a local physician, Dr. Nedinger (sp?), informed my soon-to-be adoptive parents that there was a baby available (me). I was adopted by Mr. Quentin A. Weichel & Elizabeth (Betty) Weichel 3 days after I was born thru a standard court adoption. When I was 8 yrs. old, my mother told me that I had been adopted. She said that I came from a rather large family and that they simply could not afford another child at the time. Various family members have informed me that I may be the 11th. or even 12th. born, but exact details are sketchy & few. There was an incident that took place in the summer of 1966 that I will never forget. It occured when my visiting relatives & I were at the Wallace swimming pool. My father & my cousin's father came to pick us up. My dad called to a girl in the pool, mistaking her for me. The girl offered to help locate me. While swimming, I heard somebody call out my name. When I turned around, it was like looking in a mirror! After the shock wore off, this girl introduced herself as Karen. Then we talked about some weird experiences during visits to town. Erroneously, we had been called by the other's name on numerous occasions. Neither of us understood why this was happening. We talked a few more minutes, exchanged phone numbers, & vowed to stay in touch. At the time I felt this was a strange situation, but concluded that she was 'the twin that I had out there.' A couple of months after meeting Karen, I tried to call her, but her phone had been disconnected. I honestly don't recall my exact thoughts or reactions to this at the time. It wasn't until I was a mother that I realized the importance of knowing about my heritage. I began discussing my desire to research my heritage with my cousin (the same one who was with me at the Wallace swimming pool). It was then, that I found out that Karen WAS my sister. My cousin & her father confirmed it.Because my adoptive father was shaken by my chance meeting with my sister, he had sworn the family to secrecy. I am so thankful that my cousin & her family decided that I had the right to know the truth! That brings me to date.....I am now 44 & still have come up w/nothing about my sister. I have called Bunch families in various states with no luck. I have spent money for on line searches. Quite frankly, I am hoping that there is somebody with some information about my sister, Karen Bunch. She may be married w/a different last name now. I don't know if my parents, Clifton & Lorraine are living or deceased. I really don't want to upset or hurt anybody by contacting them. Yet, I am driven to at least find my sister. I want to be able to ask her if she remembers that day at the Wallace swimming pool. I want to know who I am. What me 'roots' are. I have been told that I have Native American blood, but have no idea of anything beyond that. If anybody from the Clifton/Lorraine Bunch family reads this, I want you to know that I have no ill feelings toward any of you. Currently my immediate family consists of my adoptive father & myself. Therefore, I am open to meeting members of my birth family as long as they are comfortable with it. I am willing to accept any source of communication you desire. I will use complete discretion and consideration for the feelings/wishes of all involved. Please contact me by email first, & then we can go from there. Anybody else who may have information/leads, I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.
